Chapter 4

Sakshi's pov:-

"They're biggest enemies are the Russian Mafia, and they're trying to find the Secret Shadow team," I said, my voice low and serious.

Ananya shook her head, "No, it can't happen. They can't find them. Obviously, their identities are unrevealed, nobody knows them."

Prisha nodded in agreement, "Yeah, exactly. They don't know anything about them. They're like ghosts, invisible and untouchable."

(Secret Shadow team are Russian mafia's but their identities are unrevealed)

"Guys, relax, nobody knows about their identity, but Kushal's on to something to find them, I'm sure about it," I said.

"He's been tracking every action of Secret Shadow in one more file.

And at any cost, he can't find out that we're Secret Shadow and involved in the mafia.

We can't let him know that we're aware they're all mafia."

Ananya exclaimed, "Oh God, seriously, do you and Kushal have something going on? You both are like rivals in the maàfia too?"

We all laughed, but Prisha said, "But the problem is, they're our enemies, and they don't know."

I said firmly, "No way, we can't reveal our identity to anyone. We have to keep our cover, no matter what."

Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from the mafia group chat. "There's going to be an attack at a strip club, and I need to go there."

Ananya and Prisha looked at me in shock. "No, you can't go there alone! Plus, it's a strip club!" they exclaimed.

I understood their concern, but I knew I had to go. "Guys, understand, I need to go.

And you need to work on something else. Ananya, you need to distract Kushal too. Send some members of our team to a different location, create a fake scenario and pattern. Keep him occupied."

They nodded, and we left the office.

I got into my car and headed to the strip club, deciding not to mask or hide my identity.

It would be too dangerous if I tried to conceal myself and failed. If any of the mafia members of kushal teams arrived, I needed to be ready to act.

I arrived at the strip club, and the sound of gunfire filled the air. I reached into my car and grabbed my gun, tucking it into my boot for easy access. I now had two guns hidden in my boots, ready for use.

I made my way to the first floor, gun in hand, and was met with a hail of bullets. I returned fire, taking out several enemies.

The scene was chaotic, with three groups of mafia vying for control: the Russian Mafia, the Cosa Nostra (Sicilian Mafia), and the Carona Mafia.

As a member of the Russian Mafia, my mission was clear: eliminate the Carona Mafia, who had encroached on our territory.

After clearing the first floor, I moved up to the second floor, where I was met with an eerie silence.

The room was littered with bodies, the aftermath of a brutal battle. I moved cautiously, my guns at the ready, prepared for any remaining threats.

I made my way to the ground floor, peeking over the railing from the first floor to survey the situation.

I kept my gun concealed under my boot, ready to strike at a moment's notice.

As I slowly descended the stairs, I spotted some of the Carrona Mafia's men.

But before I could react, someone grabbed my hair from behind, yanking me down to the floor.

I was trapped, but I knew I could take out each of them if I had to.

The problem was, I couldn't risk revealing my identity as a member of the Russian Mafia.

So, I started acting, pretending to be a helpless , stuck in the strip club.

They forced me to my knees, and I begged them to leave me alone, all the while scanning the area for any sign of my allies.

"Please, just let me go," I pleaded, trying to stall for time. "I don't want any trouble."

Meanwhile, my eyes scanned the room, searching for any familiar faces, any sign of the Sicilian Mafia.

Where were they? Why hadn't they arrived yet?

Just as I was about to give up hope, a blue-eyed guy slapped me, sneering, "You're going to die."

Internally, I seethed with rage, imagining myself ripping his heart out and making him beg for mercy.

But I kept quiet, not wanting to reveal my true identity.

Just then, a shot rang out, and the guy holding my hair fell to the ground.

I turned to see Kushal's team members descending the staircase, guns blazing.

They took out everyone except the blue-eyed guy, who was still sneering at me. One of them nodded at me, "Get out of here, now."

I stood up, but before leaving, I walked over to the blue-eyed guy and delivered a swift kick to his groin.

He doubled over, and I continued kicking him in the stomach, fury coursing through my veins.

"Who do you think you are, slapping me?" I hissed, imagining myself ripping his heart out. "I wish I could make you beg for mercy..."

I heard a chuckle in my mind, and I knew it was Kushal, hiding behind his team members.

I ignored it, keeping up the act, and walked away from the carnage, leaving the blue-eyed guy writhing in pain.

As I turned to leave, a hand grasped my arm, pulling me back. I was spun around and slammed against the nearest wall, my eyes wide with surprise.

Kushal stood before me, his gaze piercing, but unaware of my true identity.

My mind raced with panic - how did I, end up alone in a strip club?

"What are you doing here?" Kushal growled, his voice low and menacing.

I tried to think fast, to come up with a convincing excuse, but my mind went blank. I was trapped, and I knew it.

I asked him "What the fuck are you doing here ?" Kushal snarled, his eyes darkening and his jaw clenching, making me feel even more stressed and trapped.

His voice rising in anger. "Language, Sakshi!" he barked, his gaze piercing through me like a knife.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized I was in grave danger.

Kushal's anger was palpable, and I knew I had to think fast to defuse the situation.

"Don't make me repeat my words, Sakshi!" Kushal's tone was laced with anger, his patience wearing thin.

I tried to speak, but my words stumbled out in a nervous jumble. "A-actually, I had a meeting... I came here, but ended up in the middle of...fires...and I hid in a room, but someone found me..."

Kushal's eyes darkened, his gaze piercing through my lies. "Stop lying, Sakshi," he growled, his voice menacing.

"Tell me why you're really here. Who were you meeting, and which deal a dick in your clut?

Kushal's words ignited a fire of anger within me, and I felt an overwhelming urge to slap him.

But I knew I couldn't - he wasn't wrong. What was I doing in a strip club, after all? I couldn't meet his gaze, couldn't defend myself.

Without a word, Kushal stormed over, his anger palpable. He scooped me up, tossing me over his shoulder like a rag doll.

I protested, struggling against his grip. "Kushal, leave me! I need to go!"

The world around me was a blur as he strode out of the strip club, carrying me away from the chaos.

Kushal remained silent, his anger palpable as he spanked me, leaving my cheeks red and stinging.

I was in shock, wondering if it had really happened. Before I could process, he lifted me off his shoulder and deposited me into the front seat of his car.

I tried to leave, but his deadly glare pinned me in place.

Instead of taking me home, he drove me to his own residence, his silence and anger unnerving me.

I couldn't understand why he was so furious; we weren't close.

Yet, here I was, trapped in his car, heading to his lair.

As we arrived, he dragged me out of the car and into his home, his grip firm.

I struggled, but he was too strong.

He tossed me onto a couch, his eyes blazing with intensity. I cowered, unsure what he'd do next.

"Why did you bring me here?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

Kushal's gaze narrowed. "So you'll answer my questions without lying," he replied, his tone firm and unyielding.

I felt a chill run down my spine. I was in a mess, and I knew it. Being alone with Kushal in his lair was not a good sign.

"What do you want to know?" I asked, trying to stall for time, my mind racing with possibilities.

Kushal's smile was cold and calculating. "Let's start with why you were at the strip club tonight. And don't even think about lying to me, Sakshi."

"Don't even think about telling me you were waiting for some guy to come and fuck you," Kushal growled, his eyes blazing with intensity. "If that's the case, I'll find him and kill him without mercy."

I stared at him, my expression blank, unable to comprehend why he was so angry and possessive.

His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I felt a surge of fear. Who was this man, and why was he acting like I belonged to him?

"I...I wasn't waiting for anyone," I stammered, trying to defend myself, but Kushal's glare made me falter.

He took a step closer, his voice low and menacing. "Don't lie to me, Sakshi. I can see right through you.

I knew I had to think fast, or risk facing Kushal's wrath. So, I decided to play along, hoping to find a way to escape later.

"Yes, that's exactly what I was doing," I said, trying to sound defiant. "And it's none of your business, so mind your own and don't try to poke your nose into my life."

Kushal's expression turned even darker, his eyes flashing with anger. "You're playing with fire, Sakshi," he growled.

"But I'll find him, and when I do, he's dead. And as for you...you'll be mine, completely and utterly mine."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as he claimed me again, his words sending a chill through my veins.

I was taken aback by his words. "What do you mean I'm yours?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

"We're enemies, Kushal. What obsession do you have with me?"

"We may be enemies, but that doesn't change the fact that you are mine."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as he claimed me with his words.

"You may think you own me," I spat, trying to defy him, "but you'll never truly have me. I'll always be your enemy, Kushal."

Kushal's smile was cold and calculating. "We'll see about that, Sakshi. We'll see about that."

I quickly made my way out of Kushal's luxurious mansion, my mind reeling with thoughts of his possessive words

"You're mine," he had said, with a conviction that sent shivers down my spine.

I couldn't understand the obsession he had with me, or what drove him to claim me as his own.

As I reached my car, which was parked outside his house, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.

I had escaped his clutches, at least for now. I started the engine and began the drive home, my thoughts still consumed by Kushal's enigmatic behavior.

What did he mean by "you're mine"? And when had this obsession started? I had so many questions, but no answers.

I had seen a glimmer of something in his eyes, something that gave me a glimmer of hope. For the first time, I saw jealousy and fear of losing me, a hint of vulnerability behind his usual mask of control and dominance.
